European Fencing Championships "Legnano 2012" will basically be held in two different venues.
Pala Borsani | Castellanza
Pala Borsani sports center is located in via per Legnano, Castellanza (Va) and recently named to Piera Borsani, 20's athlete from Castellanza. The building has multifunctional features to simultaneously satisfy different disciplines and will host the knockout stages of the European Championships.
During the year, Pala Borsani is the home for several and international sport events including the Men's Epèe World Cup, also known as Trofeo Carroccio.
Access to Pala Borsani during the European Championships will be free for spectators.
Castello Visconteo | Legnano
The Castello Visconteo, the charming fortress characterizing the City of Legnano, will host the semifinal and final steps of the competition for each weapon in the late afternoon and evening time slots. At the Castle, which offers a picturesque setting on the size and exciting sport, athletes award ceremonies will take place, in addition to the entertainment initiatives included in the events program.
